- AMIkids Tampa Inc, Tampa. They have been providing education and prevention services to young men ages 11-17 in the Tampa Bay area since 1971. - Belmont Heights Little League Inc, Tampa. They are the most successful Little League program in the United States, with more championships than any other program. - Camaraderie Foundation, Orlando. Their mission is “to provide healing for the invisible wounds of war through counseling, emotional and spiritual support for all branches of Military Service members, Veterans and their families.” Since 2009, they have provided over 1,000 veterans and/or families with free counseling assistance and served over 6,000 Service members, Veterans and their families through outreach events, the Mentor Leadership Program and counseling. They’ve partnered with numerous community agencies to bring awareness and education about the critical issue of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and the devastating impact of invisible wounds of war on Military families. - Dress for Success Tampa Bay, Tampa. They promote the economic independence of women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life. They service women who are referred by more than 200 organizations, including domestic violence agencies, homeless shelters and job-training programs. - Leesburg Police Department's National Night Out, Leesburg. On October 2nd, 2018, they will host Leesburg’s National Night Out. It is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, by promoting involvement in crime prevention activities to make neighborhoods safer and a better place to live. - The Miami Police Athletic League, Miami. They foster a positive relationship between the Miami Police Department and the youth of the City of Miami through educational activities, athletics and mentorship. - The Patrick Brett Foundation, St. Petersburg. The Foundation was named in memory of Patrick Brett, a University of Florida student and St. Petersburg resident who was ambitious, a leader among his peers, and one who believed in others. Creating the foundation and scholarship in his name is a tribute to Patrick’s vision that all can achieve no matter what obstacles one may face. - Police Athletic League of Davie Inc., Davie. Their program is designed to bridge the gap between youth and the Police Dept. through educational and athletic activities. They have an event every year that raises money for such programs. Their triathlon is in its 5th season with two races per year. - RCS Pinellas, Clearwater. Their mission is to feed the hungry, help families facing homelessness return to self-sufficiency and empower survivors of domestic violence. They serve 130,000 men, women and children, provide 3.7 million pounds of food, 550 individuals with temporary housing, serves 17,000 individuals through RCS Outreach Center, provide shelter to over 250 women and children and 11 families with long-term affordable housing annually. - Walk On Cancer Support Group, Inc., Palm Coast. They provide support, encouragement, information and resources to cancer survivors. They meet monthly for support, providing information to the newly diagnosed, and dinners to those too sick to take care of themselves.
