Our commitment to our community.
More than 20 years ago, a local sheriff came to us with a simple request: kids were riding bikes without helmets, and he wanted to make sure they were safe. Our team got to work. Thousands of helmets later, that moment still guides us — kids come first, and communities get stronger when real needs are met with real action.
What began with bicycle safety has grown into a statewide commitment to Florida’s youth, opening doors to education, after-school enrichment, and safe, healthy activities that build confidence and character. Along the way, we’ve partnered with dozens of trusted nonprofits that see the promise in every child and work every day to help them reach it.
We’re guided by a clear belief: When we help our customers, our communities, and our colleagues, we strengthen our state. Amscot puts that belief into motion by funding practical, high-impact programs that give kids opportunities they might not otherwise get, from something as simple as visits to museums or the zoo, to tutoring, mentorships, and scholarships.
Over the last 20 years, Amscot and its leadership team have donated more than $12 million, and we’re just getting started. Together with our partners, we’re committed to continuing this work so communities across Florida can continue to grow and thrive.
Our Mission
To expand opportunities for Florida’s children through education, enrichment, and safety, all while investing in programs that create brighter futures and stronger communities.
Helping Kids Do More, See More, Become More

- Primarily serve children and families in communities where Amscot operates.
- Provide a brief narrative: your mission, the program you’re proposing, who it serves, and expected impact (with any measurable outcomes).
- Please include your requested amount and a simple program budget, and be prepared to provide your most recent financial audit (or equivalent financial statements, if applicable) upon request.
How to Connect
If you’re seeking funding support, please complete this form. Please note that the review process takes at least eight weeks, and while we carefully consider every request, we unfortunately cannot fund them all.
