Amscot Financial Contributes $10,000 To Charity Challenge Inc.

Tampa, FL – (June 1, 2009)Amscot Financial, a leading provider of convenient, consumer-oriented financial services, has made a major contribution of $10,000 to Charity Challenge, an annual fund-raising effort in metro Orlando that has raised more than $3 million for non-profit service organizations over the past 20 years.

Charity Challenge, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Florida State Senator Lee Constantine of Altamonte Springs. Once a year in May, young adults from throughout Central Florida compete in six challenging, fun-filled, co-ed athletic events, while giving back to the community at the same time.  Charity Challenge has grown into one of Central Florida’s largest independent charitable organizations.

More than 100 service organizations in the past have received contributions from Charity Challenge, including Boy Scouts of America / Central Florida Council; Citrus Council of Girl Scouts; Kids House of Seminole; Make a Wish Foundation and the Winter Park Day Nursery.
