Winter Springs, Fla., August 30, 2008 - Amscot Financial, a leading provider of convenient, consumer-oriented financial services, held an open house on Saturday, August 30 at its new branch at 5285 Red Bug Lake Road in Winter Springs. Amscot presented a $500 contribution in support of Charity Challenge, Inc.

Charity Challenge, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Florida State Senator Lee Constantine of Altamonte Springs. Young adults from throughout Central Florida compete in six challenging, fun-filled, co-ed athletic events, while giving back to the community at the same time.  Charity Challenge and the athletic event have grown into Central Florida’s largest independent charity, raising more than $5 million over the past 20 years. Charity Challenge is held each May at the Citrus Bowl near downtown Orlando.
