Winter Park, Fla., April 19, 2008 - Amscot Financial, a leading provider of convenient, consumer-oriented financial services held an open house on Saturday, April 19 from noon to 2 p.m. at 6320 University Boulevard in Winter Park. Amscot presented a $500 contribution in support of Charity Challenge, Inc., an annual fund-raising event that supports dozens of non-profit service agencies in Central Florida.

Charity Challenge, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Florida State Senator Lee Constantine of Altamonte Springs. Young adults from throughout Central Florida compete in six challenging, fun-filled, co-ed athletic events, while giving back to the community at the same time.  Charity Challenge and the athletic event have grown into Central Florida’s largest independent charity, raising more than $5 million over the past 20 years. Charity Challenge will be held on May 17, 2008 at the Citrus Bowl near downtown Orlando.
