Brandon, Fla., Nov. 15, 2008 - Amscot Financial, a leading provider of convenient, consumer-oriented financial services, held an open house on Saturday, November 15, at 2114 W. Amscot presented a $500 contribution in support of Bealsville Inc., a non-profit organization that supports community activities in the historic east Hillsborough County community of Bealsville.

Bealsville Inc. was founded in 1981 by community leaders and landowners who desired to preserve the heritage of this historical community and enhance it for present and future generations. One of its primary objectives is the restoration of the historic Glover School.  Bealsville Inc. has obtained historic landmark status for the school and has been granted tax-exempt status as a nonprofit charitable and educational organization.

Another major goal of Bealsville Inc. is to provide a full service community center. The proposed center would provide a full service computer lab with online services, a teenage pregnancy prevention program, a genealogical archive and a Bealsville historical museum.
